Host a live room

You can go live instantly or schedule a room for later.

Go live

1. Tap on the + button in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Tap on Go live.
3. Type the room title and description. Room title is required but description is optional.
4. Select the group in which you want to host the room.
5. Select whether to enable or disable Moments in the room. You can toggle this during the room.
6. Select the room privacy. You can host a public room that anyone can join, or a private room that only people with the roles you select, such as Admins, Moderators or Subscribers, can join.
7. Add co-hosts and moderators. Both are optional and you can add up to 2 co-hosts and as many moderators as you want.
8. Tap on Start live room at the top right.
9. Create a post with text, image or video to post the live room in the feed. Type the post and tap on Add. It will be posted on your profile, in the group and the home feed.

Schedule a room

1. Tap on the + button in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Tap on Schedule a room.
3. Type the room title and description. Room title is required but description is optional.
4. Select the group in which you want to schedule the room.
5. Select whether to enable or disable Moments in the room. You can toggle this during the room.
6. Select the room privacy. You can host a public room that anyone can join, or a private room that only people with the roles you select, such as Admins, Moderators or Subscribers, can join.
7. Select the date and time for the room.
8. Add co-hosts and moderators. Both are optional and you can add up to 2 co-hosts and as many moderators as you want.
9. Tap on Schedule room at the top right.
10. Create a post with text, image or video to post the scheduled room in the feed. Type the post and tap on Add. It will be posted on your profile, in the group, and the home feed. You must create a post for scheduled rooms to be able to start the room.

Start a scheduled room

1. Go to your profile or the group in which the room is scheduled and find the post you created when scheduling the room.
2. Tap on Start room.

• The Start room button will be available 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time. For example, if you scheduled the room for 5 pm, you will be able to start the room anytime between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
• You can repost the scheduled room post to bring it up in the feed and attract more people to join your room when it's live.
• Currently, it is not possible to edit scheduled rooms. That feature will be added in a future update. For now, you can delete the post and schedule the room again.
