Upgrade from V1 to V2

If you were a beta tester for Chatter V1 and you still have it installed, you must uninstall the app and then install the new version from App Store or Play Store.


If you already upgraded to Chatter V2 without uninstalling Chatter V1, you might get stuck on the Stay up to date on Chatter screen and tapping on Continue on that screen will not go to the next screen.


Here is the solution to resolve this issue:

iOS

  1. Uninstall the app.
  2. Install the app from App Store.
  3. Open the Chatter app and log in with your Chatter account.
  4. Now you should be able to continue on Stay up to date on Chatter screen.

Android

  1. Open your phone Settings.
  2. Go to Apps.
  3. Tap on Chatter.
  4. Tap on Force stop and then tap on OK.
  5. Tap on Storage.
  6. Tap on Clear cache.
  7. Tap on Clear storage or Clear data and then tap on OK.
  8. Open the Chater app and log in with your Chatter account.
  9. Now you should be able to continue on Stay up to date on Chatter screen.
