Moments

Moments are clips from live rooms that can be shared on or off Chatter.

Enable moments

You can enable moments when starting or scheduling a live room by toggling on Moments. This will allow people in the room to clip moments. Enabling this will also show your room in the Live Now section at the top of the home feed and group feed if anyone is live on camera.

When moments is enabled in the room, a Recording indicator is shown at the top of the room screen.


Clip moments

While you are in a live room, you can clip a moment by following the steps below:

  1. Tap on the scissors button at the bottom left.
  2. You will see the recording of the last 5 minutes of the room.
  3. Trim up to 90 seconds and then tap on the checkmark button.
  4. Type a title.
  5. Tap on Publish.

View moments

You can view moments in 3 different places:

  • Moments feed: Tap on the Moments button in the bottom navigation bar. It is the circle button between Home and + buttons.
  • Moments tab in groups: Go to any group page and tap on the Moments tab.
  • Moments tab in profiles: Go to anyone's profile and tap on the Moments tab.
