Monetization

There are a few ways to monetize your content and community on Chatter.

RocketChats

RocketChats are contributions sent to the room host by participants in live rooms. They can send different amounts ranging from $1 to $500. You can receive RocketChats even if you are currently not subscribed to Chatter Pro. However, you must subscribe to Chatter Pro and then connect your Stripe account to your Chatter account to receive payouts of the revenue you generated with RocketChats.

RocketChat Goal

Chatter Pro subscribers can set a RocketChat goal amount while starting or scheduling a live room. Room participants can view the goal amount at the top of the room and contribute towards it.

Group subscriptions

Chatter Pro subscribers can create subscriber-only groups. Subscriber-only groups are paid membership groups and people must subscribe to join by paying a monthly subscription. You can set the subscription price while creating the group.

In a future update, you will be able to add a subscription to your existing public groups or private groups.

Paid events

This is an upcoming feature. Chatter Pro subscribers will be able to host a paid event and people must pay the fee set by the room host to join the live room. You will be able to set the price while starting or scheduling a live room.
